1.Innovation team

As the R&D organization of the company, Hongbaoli Research Institute mainly carries out technological innovation around the business fields of polyurethane, alkanolamine and new materials, undertakes the research and development of new products and new technologies, improves the process performance of existing products, and provides technical support for products sales services.

The Research Institute has a professional technical team which is lead by high-level talents in "333" project of Jiangsu Province and the young and middle-aged academic leaders of industry technology in Nanjing, together with stable external experts in scientific research institutes, covering synthetic research, application development, engineering and industrialization, and providing strong talent support for technological innovation. And 69% of the R&D team have bachelor degree or above, and 43% have medium- or senior-level technical title. 

2.R & D investment

The company attaches great importance to R&D investment, and the annual investment in science and technology is no less than 3% of sales revenue. By establishing a multi-channel investment system, enterprises can raise enough innovation funds and improve the overall investment efficiency of innovation.

3.R & D equipment

The company has 12000m2 R&D experimental building, and the test floor is equipped with advanced technical equipment and R&D facilities for lab test, pilot test, simulated environmental control, quality inspection and analysis, application evaluation test, etc., totaling more than 1000 sets to provide a strong foundational guarantee for R&D and innovation activities.

4.Innovation platform

The company has set up the state-level enterprise postdoctoral research station, the provincial enterprise technology center, the provincial engineering technology research center for alcohol amine, the provincial engineering center for polyurethane and the provincial enterprise postgraduate workstations, to strengthen and improve the operation mode of various R&D platforms, optimize R&D management processes, and enhance technological innovation capabilities.

5.Industrial-academic-research cooperation

The company has always focused on long-term cooperation with universities and research institutes. It has successively carry out industrial-academic-research cooperation with Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing Forestry University, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences, East China University of Science and Technology and so on, relying on their advantages in basic research and professional team.

In addition, it has established good cooperation with Zhejiang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Research Institute of Nanhua Group, No.8511 Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, Nanjing Polytechnic Institute and other institutions.

At the same time, it also cooperates with customers and raw material suppliers in related industries, for example, key suppliers such as Air Products and Chemicals, and major customers such as BSH.
